TRIATHLON TRAINING
viXen training will be with you from
start to finish of your triathlon adventure. Each clinic includes 2 weekly coached
workouts covering swimming, biking and running techniques, a workout
schedule to follow on non-coached days, weekly motivating emails to
keep you on track, information and tips to give you a clear
understanding of the fun sport of triathlon, all leading up to cheering
you on while you smile through the finish line.
What if you really would like to do a triathlon but are still
intimidated? Share your fitness goal, and grab one or two other friends
for a relay – divy up the running, biking and swimming —
not to mention the fun!
The TREK WOMEN'S TRIATHLON on 10/10/2010 is perfect for you and viXen training has just the program to get you there !

Train for your first ocean triathlon !
Training starts April 17th for the Breath of Life Triathlon "BOL"
BOL offers both Sprint and Olympic distance !
The ocean swim will be held in the Ventura Harbor; the bike and run course are absolutely flat.
The only requirement for this training session is you must know how to swim. We will work on your technique and endurance throughout the training.
SPRINT distance :
SWIM 400 meters (1/4 mile)
BIKE 20K (12.5 miles)
RUN 5K (3.1 miles)
OLYMPIC distance :
SWIM 1.5K (.9 mile)
BIKE 40K (25 miles)
RUN 10K (6.2 miles)
The viXen BOL training session includes :
- Complete training schedule for both Sprint and Olympic distances
- Coached workouts SATURDAYS 7:30AM-9AM and
WEDNESDAYS 6:30-7:30PM on the Westside
- Swim practice in both pool and ocean
- Swimming, cycling and running skills
